The Organist’s Daughter

I can’t begin to tell you how much I am in love with this red coat
and what’s left of the old violin
and the whisper of that white laced ladies handkerchief
and the old pipe organ’s stops.

It was two of the best weeks in the studio
when I let them dance together.
