Dealer’s of Almost Everything

I was stumped with this one.
If one does not recognize this as Alley’s General Store then it won’t matter a hill of beans to use that as the title.
If you haven’t filled your coffee cup and sat reading your newspaper on this front porch of a Sunday morning
or made a late afternoon run for cans of tomato juice to de-skunk the mutt
or sidled up to JFK Jr. to nod your approval of his selection from a stack of overhauls
or pawed through the bits of hardware looking to replace the pull chain
from the only light fixture in the bunkhouse
well then just reading the name Alley’s won’t mean diddly squat to you.

So I wrote to the Admiral Himself.
He had it in one.
“Why don’t ya use the old slogan of the store itself ?”, he hollers…

A couple weeks went by before his second letter.
“So what did I win for guessing the title ?”
