Sengy Sunrise

This isn’t what I was going to say about this painting,
but it tells the story better.

On my refrigerator in the new studio is a collection of those word magnets.
With the negative words weeded out.
Visitors who tarry often rearrange them as their poetic muses dictate.

We had a delightful soiree a while back with our friends Doug and Scott and a few
days later I discovered some new lines on the appliance door.

Of the ones I will share,
these two illustrate more beautifully than I have
the graceful power of this cottage
and the two who have shared its sunrises.
