We go a long way back, Peter and I
and it doesn’t get any better than that.

I want to write a long, long, tribute to my friend
but, for a man who spends his days
exploring olde tyme woodworking techniques
with his hands on antique tools
and his head in dusty old archives
he is very much a live in the present kinda guy.

Having more fun than a person should have
he now gets to have his way with sharp tools
and green logs of New England oak
to his hearts content…
in between traveling the globe
teaching others what he has taught his sturdy hands to do.

We each had a dream
back in our Harvard Square Coop
picture framing days
of doing the things we loved to do best.

And here we are
doing just that
and that is about as good as it gets
but we are both
way too busy to waste time writing about it.

If you want to learn something more about his woodworking
and you shouldhere is the link…

but I warn you…
everytime I click on it…
I want to pick up my carving knife.
